Preparation tips:Pilaf cooking (recommended by Taureau AIlé): Fry 1 volume of rice in a spoonful of oil or butter until the grains are translucent. Add 3 volumes of salted boiling water. Cover and cook over medium heat until all the water has been absorbed (about 11 minutes). Creole cooking: Pour one part rice into 5 parts boiling salted water. Cook for 11 minutes covered and over medium heat. Finally drain and enjoy.
